Condolence: Dear Gwen, Jane and families, I am so sorry that I couldn't attend the Service for Dan. It is always difficult to know what to say at a time like this, but I want you to know that I admired Dan immensely. He was an amazing man and one of the few people I worked with who ALWAYS had a laugh - and what a great laugh! He was infectious. He was a great broadcaster, a terrific co-worker and mentor, and I am truly saddened by his passing. My thoughts and prayers will be with all of you in the months ahead.

Condolence: I will always remember the first time I met Dan in my interview to become a BRT student at Conestoga College. He made me feel comfortable right away with his jovial personality and his amazing sense of humour. It was an extreme honour to know Dan. Condolences to his family and loved ones. Condolence: Dear Gwen and family, I had the great privilege of meeting Dan at Dr. Edwards office where I have been his Dental Hygienist for the last few years. Seeing his name in my schedule always made my day! His smile, his teasing nature, and of course getting my own personal ukulele performances will not be forgotten. Condolence: My greatest memories of college begin and end with Dan Fisher. I’m deeply saddened by his passing. He was a wonderful person. It was a true honour to have been taught by him then to have the opportunity to work with him. Condolence: It's always sad when good friends leave us, but Dan's passing hits especially hard. I had the pleasure and good fortune to work with Dan now and then over my own 40-odd years in broadcasting, and I can truthfully say he was one of a precious few I met along the way I respected, trusted and, yes, loved. In fact, Dan was one of the finest human beings it was ever my good fortune to know - period. Gwen, the kids and the grandchildren will miss him terribly - but they should know that many, many others - friends and colleagues are also grieving.
