Passed away at Sunnyside Home on Monday, November 4, 2019 at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Harry Gruning. Loving mother of Wilfried Bent and his wife Allison. Proud Oma of William Bent (Kyra Spencer) and Diana Bent (Mark MacDonald). Great grandmother of Thomas and Evan MacDonald. Dear sister of Margaret Hardy (Bryan), Eva Dreher (Larry), Peter Lamp (Marlene) and the late Betty Schneider (Oskar).
Katharina's family will receive relatives and friends from 12:30-1:15 p.m. on Friday, November 15, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Friday at 1:30 p.m. Reception to follow. A private interment at Parkview Cemetery has taken place.
