The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Marjorie Batte can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

Linda Roussy

As I know so well, the "first" year after losing a love one is especially emotional. Every "first" brings memories of happier times and so I have part of a poem to share with you: You can shed tears that she is gone or you can smile because she has lived. You can close your eyes and pray she could come back or you can open your eyes and see all she has left. Your heart can be empty because you can't see her or you can be full of the love your shared. You can remember her and only that she is gone or you can cherish her memory and let her live on. Do what she would want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on David Harkins Thinking of all of you and sending prayers. Hugs, Linda
