Loving father of Kevin (Lisa). Cherished grandpa of Alex and Matt. Survived by his sister Nancy (Irvin). Predeceased by his brother Bruce (Marjorie). Dear brother-in-law of Harold (Joanne), and the late Mary Ann Trendell (John) and Florence Boughner (Lyle). Herb was a lifetime member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church and worked 32 years as a groundskeeper and heavy equipment operator at the University of Waterloo. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, auction sales, coffee time with the Bloomingdale and Bridgeport boys and Saturday mornings in the bush making firewood.
