Passed away peacefully, on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Pinehaven Nursing Home, at the age of 84. Beloved husband of the late Stella (Yendruck) (2016). Loving father of Brad (Kim Rowland) and Brian (Laure Leckwold). Dear Grandpa to Morgan Forwell (Danielle Belcourt) and Great-Grandpa of Hendrix Leo.

Predeceased by his parents the late Leo and Mary (Blay) Forwell, brothers and sisters; Margaret Forwell, Rolland Forwell, Catherine Hess, Norbert Farwell, Madeline Dietrich, Anna Marie Nafziger, Walter Forwell, Art Forwell, Joseph Forwell, Raymond Forwell, Donald Forwell, Kenneth Forwell.

Dear brother to Ruth Schnarr, Edward Forwell and dear brother-in-law to Mary Forwell, Betty Jane Forwell, Elizabeth Forwell and June Yendruck.

Leo worked at J.M. Schneiders for some 43 years and once retired he could be found with Stella at d'bush in St. Jacobs where family and friends would visit and share in their hospitality.

Leo's family invite relatives and friends to a Funeral Mass at St. Aloysius R.C. Church, 11 Traynor Avenue, Kitchener, on Thursday, July 28, 2016, at 11am followed by a reception. Cremation has taken place.

The family would like to thank the staff at Pinehaven Nursing and Retirement Residence for their kindness and compassion. Leo and Stella truly appreciated the care they were given.

As expressions of sympathy donations to Grand River Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family (cards may be placed by calling the Henry Walser Funeral Home 519-749-8467).
