Condolence: I was extremely saddened to hear of Ruth's untimely death. She and I were colleagues and friends, who danced together in the CNE Grandstand shows for many years. Later, when I was Vice-Principal(ballet) and Head of Teacher Training at the National Ballet School, and Ruth was head of the dance program at the University of Waterloo, we collaborated to develop a combined program for the 2 institutions. Ruth was a vibrant, creative and caring person, who will be greatly missed by anyone whose life she touched. May she rest in peace

Condolence: Ruth Priddle was an inspiring and creative individual and I will remember her for her energy and encouragement in our dance classes. Ruth was always pushing us to do our best and found various venues to bring out our own creativity. Ruth certainly began my love for modern dance which is still a huge part of my life today so thank you very much. Memories of great teachers never fade.

Condolence: Miss Hodgkinson was my favourite phys ed teacher, coach and dance teacher at Midland Ave CI back in the '60s. Ruth always had time for us 'gym rats'. She is always at the heart of my fondest high school memories. My sincerest condolences to her family.

Condolence: Ruth and George Priddle - two of the most wonderful people I know who genuinely loved socializing with others and whose dynamic social skills have been passed on to their two sons, Charlie and Alex. Ruth was one of the most generous people I've ever met, and I feel blessed that she was a part of my life.

Condolence: Ruth served on the committee of the KW Kiwanis Music Festival, which I work for. Her insight, enthusiasm, and passion for music and the arts were inspiring, and she worked very very hard to make sure that participants and volunteers felt included and were getting the best festival experience they could.I will personally miss her insights and contribution to the committee and the music festival.

Condolence: Ms Hodgekinson was my grade 10 gym and Latin teacher. She was the best gym teacher ever. She taught us to dance! We did a performance including dances from around the world, and in gym, we learned a jazz dance from West Side Story. We were so sad that she left our school to teach at the University. My friend Rene and I attended two modern dance workshops that Ms P. organized for teachers at the University and learned so much while having so much fun. We still talk about her! She touched a lot of lives. Thank-you for the music!

Condolence: Ruth was an incredible spirit, and a strong force. She was a light a pioneer and an incredible teacher. Dr. Ruth Priddle was my academic advisor during my time in the dance program at the University of Waterloo. I am incredibly saddened to hear of her passing. She was adventurous and seemingly fearless, willing to try anything and explore new territory without hesitation. Such an incredible role model and inspiration. It was such a privilege to of known her and to of had her as a beacon and influence in a very influential period in my life. Never forgotten. Way too big of a spirit and life force for that.... RIP Ruth. Forever grateful.

Condolence: Our trip to Dubaii was made so much more memorable because of the time we spent with Ruth. Ruth and I giggled like school girls as we tossed about like ragdolls on our thrilling ride through the sand dunes. She enriched our days with her sense of humour and her infectious laugh. She will be greatly missed in our Foxboro Green community. Karen and Keith Lyon
