I was extremely saddened to hear of Ruth's untimely death. She and I were colleagues and friends, who danced together in the CNE Grandstand shows for many years. Later, when I was Vice-Principal(ballet) and Head of Teacher Training at the National Ballet School, and Ruth was head of the dance program at the University of Waterloo, we collaborated to develop a combined program for the 2 institutions. Ruth was a vibrant, creative and caring person, who will be greatly missed by anyone whose life she touched. May she rest in peace
