Passed away with family at her side at Grand River Hospital on Sunday, January 3, 2016 at the age of 63. Beloved wife of Jose. Loving mother of Natalie and her husband Grant Fairley and Jeff and his wife Lucy. Proud grandma of Nikki and Tyler Fairley, and Sarah Da Silva. Much loved daughter of Hortencia and the late Manuel Avila. Dear sister of Manuel, Maria, Jerry, and Joe. She will be fondly remembered by all her extended family and friends.
Maria's family will receive relatives and friends from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. & 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A Funeral Liturgy will be held in the Chapel at Henry Walser Funeral Home on Friday, January 8, 2016 at 1:00 p.m.
