Obituary for Alfred Krampitz

Krampitz, Alfred, 80 of Guelph, Ontario
Passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on Tues 11/25/14.

Alfred is survived by his wife of 57 years Edith Krampitz (Biese), beloved father of Ruth (Mario), Angela (Georg), Reinhard (Ute) and Christine. Proud Opa of Jeremy (Emily), Carmen (Benjamin), Sabrina (Michael), Lukas, Niklas and Sonia and loving OpaOpa to his great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Irene Wendel and Gertrud Demant, loving uncle to Walesas, Wendels, Trelenbergs, Wissmachs, and Demants. Brother in-law and uncle of Bieses, Nielsens and Baders in Germany.

Alfred was born in Orlowo, West Prussia in 1934. He migrated to West Germany in 1945 and later met his wife Edith Biese in Hamburg. She followed him to Kitchener, Ontario Canada where they married in January 1958. He was a loving husband and father and friend of many. He enjoyed life, travelling, photography and above all sitting down to a good meal with family or friends. His deep love of God and his German Pentecostal church family were his constant source of strength.

Alfreds family will receive relatives and friends at Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Fredrick St. Kitchener, on Friday Nov 28 7-9. Funeral service will be at Immanuel Pentecostal Church 100 Hoffman St. Kitchener on Sat. Nov 29 with final farewell at 10 am and service at 11 am.
