Grandpa took me fishing alot as a child and I always loved it. Growing up I was always so proud of the fact that I was a girl that loved fishing. I remember my Grandpa telling me when I was young that the guys love a girl that can fish...and he was right. I am 25 now and over the years I have had so many people amazed and shocked at not only the fact that I know how to fish but I honestly love it. I also still love that I can cut a warm in half with my finger nail :)
I have so many memories of fishing with my Grandpa but there is one that I will never forget. Grandpa took my out on the lake with his brand new boat to go fishing. When we got on to the boat Grandpa showed me this little screen device that was attached to the boat. He then told me that it was a Fish Finder and asked me if I wanted to see how it worked. I will never forget just how fasinated I was with this device, I just sat there on the boat and staired at it the entire time we were on the lake. I remember thinking that my Grandpa was the coolest person on the lake, he had a really nice fishing boat and this device that would help him catch all the fish in the lake.
Fishing with my Grandpa will always and forever be one of my favorite memories. He taught my dad to fish, my dad taught me to fish and one day I will teach my child.
