The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Wayne Kaitting can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Wayne has been in our family for almost 50 years. I was just a little girl of no more than 6 or 7 when he first started coming around. He was a tall man, and I being the age I was, only came up to his back pocket of his jeans. In that back pocket he kept a plastic comb. From watching Wayne, and observing, I realized this comb was very important to him. So, next time when his back was turned, I snuck up behind him, and yes, I took his precious comb and ran. Well, I was quick, but not quick enough. I was caught, tickled a bit, and yes, the comb was returned. Needless to say, the quest continued and I would win and somehow get that comb another day. Though I did try, I never did get the comb, without having to return it. There are many other stories that will be remembered fondly of 'Big' Wayne.
