Peacefully in his sleep, on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Margaret (Peggy) of 65 years.

Dear father and friend of Carolyn Cordina (Martin) of Embro , Nancy Murray of Kitchener, Wayne (Betty) of Cambridge, Anne Williston (Kerry) of Kitchener, George (Barb) of Kitchener. Doting grandfather of Alison Dunscombe, Trevor Dunscombe (Shari), Andrea Jansen (Chris), Bryan Williston, Jennifer and Michael Clements. Great grandfather of Megan and Kent Dunscombe, John and Will Jansen.

Brother of Lillian Vaughan and predeceased by siblings, James, George and Dulce.

Harold was a long time member of the Salvation Army Kitchener, an avid golfer and serious Blue Jay fan. He retired from J.M. Schneiders after thirty three years and enjoyed a second career at Stedelbauer Motors for ten years.

Harold's family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A celebration of Harold's life will be conducted at 11 am on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at The Salvation Army Citadel, 75 Tillsley Dr. Kitchener with Major Gordon Wilder officiating. Reception and fellowship to follow at the church.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the St. Mary's Hospital Foundation - Cardiac Unit would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
