Memories of The Big Guy

Over the last 50 years that I've had the pleasure of knowing Guy, he's been my PLP (public leaning post) on numerous occasions. We've had many stories to tell, and many that aren't suited to print:) Numerous celebrations we shared, such as his graduation, his wedding, and the births of his daughters; but perhaps one of the most vivid (and "ancient") was while Guy and I huddled around the little black and white T.V. set at Ipperwash Army Cadet Camp in July 1969, and we watched the moon landing. I think this was truly one of those "you had to be there" moments. Guy was a lot of things to a lot of people - a husband, a brother, a son, a co-worker or a boss, but to me he was The Big Guy, a friend, a moral compass, a benefactor and a PLP. The Big Guy earned my highest respect. A true friend indeed. My heart goes out to Guy's family and numerous friends, of course my sincerest condolences to Marion, Janine, Holly and Tim.
