Tschirhart,Guy: Passed away, unexpectedly but peacefully, on Tuesday January 1, 2013 at the KW Health Centre of Grand River Hospital at the age of 58. Beloved husband of Marion (nee Pacey). Dearly loved father of Janine of Kitchener and Holly (Chris) of Toronto and Miranda (Umair) of Yellowknife. Brother of Tim (late Virginia, 1997). Also survived by mother in law Eileen Pacey, sisters in law Diane Clark (Bill) and Joan Schwegel (Norman) and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents Ruth (2009) and Joe (1989), father in law Tom Pacey (2003) and brother in law Allen Pacey (1992). Guy will be fondly remembered for his many years of dedicated service at Schneider Foods. He loved gardening, cards, fishing and exploring the countryside on his motorcycle. At Guy’s request, his body has been bequeathed to the University of Guelph for educational purposes, contributing to the advancement of Medical Science. Guy’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467 on Friday from 7 – 9 pm and on Saturday from 1 – 2:45 pm. A celebration of his life will be held in the chapel on Saturday January 5, 2013 at 3 pm followed by a reception. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Big Brothers Big Sisters or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
