My Father fought a long hard battle against heart disease. Even though it was a battle he could never win, in the end, his determination and perseverance in the face of the inevitable has defined him. I learned many things from my Father. Many important, some mundane, and admittedly some things long forgotten. But it is this final lesson that is perhaps the most valuable. Our family is grateful that after fighting for so long, Dad's end came peacefully in his sleep. He has earned his sleep.
