Brown Howard: Passed away at Trinity Village of Freeport Hospital on Friday August 17, 2012 at the age of 78. Loved father of Kevin Brown (Sheila), Tracey Brown (Ian Mann) and Tim Brown (Maria). Proud grandfather of Ashley, Kirk, Ethan, Adam and Steven. Dear brother of Lois Hoffman (Gary) and their children Sheldon and Kelly. Fondly remembered by Margery Haffner. Also survived by his step-mother Arleatha Brown, step-brother Larry (Carol) Zehr, step-sister Karen Hamilton (Murray) and step sister-in-law Greta Zehr. Predeceased by his parents Sidney and Dorothy Brown, two brothers Doug and Roy (Cecilia) and two stepbrothers Murray and Glen Zehr.
Until his retirement, Howard was a Distribution Foreman at J.M. Schneider’s. He was also a proud member of Branch #230 of the Canadian Legion.
Howard’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467 on Wednesday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 pm. A memorial celebration of his life will be held in the chapel on Thursday August 23, 2012 at 11 am with a reception to follow.
