Passed away peacefully at home in Kitchener, with family by her side, on Sunday, October 20, 2019. Beloved wife of the late Francisco Costa Soares. Loving mother of Ana Soares and Manuel Costa (the late Nancy). Cherished Avo to Christopher Costa, and Michael Costa. Survived by her sister Maria do Carmo Gouveia and predeceased by her sister Maria Clotilde Machado and brother Jose Tavares Machado. She will be fondly remembered by her niece and nephews.
A private family service will be held at St. Anthony Daniel R.C. Church, Kitchener with interment following at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
Arrangements entrusted to Henry Walser Funeral Home, Kitchener, 519-749-8467.
