Reist, Clifford:
Passed away on Friday, October 18, 2019 at Chartwell Westmount Long Term Care at the age of 86. Beloved husband of the late Eunice (2015). Loving father of Joanne (Fred) MacDonald of Listowel , Paul (Lisa) Reist of Sauble Beach, Barbara (Alan) Jones of Wellesley and Karen Waye of Port Elgin. Cherished grandfather of Tracey, Charlene, Steven, Jason, Lindsay, Courtney, Daniel, Joe and Sara, Great-grandpa to Aimee, Brandon, Emily, Austin, Wyatt, Benjamin, Deacon, Addison, Jacob and Finnley. Will be sadly missed by his brother Herbie Reist. Predeceased by his son Michael Reist (2001), brothers Basil and Ronald Reist and sisters Barbara and Earla Reist.
Clifford worked at the Merchants Rubber factory, followed by a 25 year career with Canada Post, from where he retired as Assistant Post Master.
Clifford's family will receive relatives and friends from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Visitation will continue on Thursday from 10:00 - 10:45 a.m. Funeral Service to follow in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Parkview Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Waterloo Wellington or The Children's Wish Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
