Pfeiffer, Adam:
Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Parkwood Mennonite Home surrounded by his family. Adam Pfeiffer, age 95 years, was predeceased by his wife, Charlotte Pfeiffer (2009). Also predeceased by his parents, Andreas and Maria Pfeiffer, sister, Mary Keilhauer and her husband, Joseph Keilhauer and nephew, Matthew Keilhauer. Loving uncle to Helen Schumacher and Helmut Schumacher (predeceased). "Uncle Adam" was cherished by his many great-nephews and nieces Debbie Spicer (Keilhauer) and Jim Spicer (predeceased), Mark Keilhauer (predeceased), Robert and Lisa Schumacher, Richard and Lily Schumacher, Jeffrey and Marianne Schumacher and relatives in Germany. Adam will be remembered as a great story teller with a hearty laugh. He retired from Uniroyal, enjoyed going to the Kitchener Farmer's Market, chatting with people and always kept his cars sparkling. Adam will be remembered and eternally missed by his entire family. Thank you to the staff at Parkwood Mennonite Home for their special care.
Resting at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467, where Adam's family will receive friends on Friday, March 16, 2018 (today) from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. (parish prayers at 4:30 p.m.). A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church, 268 East Ave., Kitchener, on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 10:30 am. Interment follows at Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener followed by a reception at the church.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the St. Vincent de Paul Society - St. Anne's Parish would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
