The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Harold Macklin can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: Mr. Macklin was a shining light wherever he went, always smiling, always elevating everyone's mood who was lucky enough to cross his path. The Macklins raised two of the loveliest, kindest women I know and it's a tribute to Harold and Joan, the strength of family and the power of love. How lucky to have the best parents possible.

Condolence: May fond memories of your dad bring you comfort during this hard time in your life. Look back on all the good memories and smile at the fact you were able to share them together and create special moments. I remember every garden centre I visited, there was Uncle Harold looking for new plants for his garden.
My heart and prayers go out to you and your family.

Condolence From: Ted and Joan La Croix
Condolence: Ted and I were so sorry to hear about Harold's passing. We enjoyed getting to know him in the last couple of years and will miss his cheerful spirit and sense of humour. We're not sure how the choir will get along without our backup conductor. Hopefully he is conducting the angels now. Our thoughts are with you and your family, Peggy.
