Macklin, Harold:
Passed away peacefully, with Joanne and Peggy by his side, on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at his home at Lanark Heights at the age of 91. Beloved husband of the late Joan (Kane) for 50 years. Loving Dad to Joanne Macklin (David Schweitzer) and Peggy (Stephen) Dewar. Cherished Pa to Emily and Elizabeth Dewar.
Harold was raised by his beloved mother, Elizabeth and her twin sister Aunt Sus. He worked for Jack Frasers Menswear for over 40 years. He was a kind and gentle soul. The family wishes to express their thanks to their Lanark Family, especially the Chestnut Neighborhood. Your compassionate and loving care made his final journey so peaceful.
Harold's family will receive relatives and friends from 9:00 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. followed by a reception at the funeral home. Cremation has taken place.
