Santos, Margarida Maria:
It is with heavy hearts, Margarida passed away at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, on Thursday, February 22nd, 2018 at the age of 66. Beloved wife of Pedro. Loving mother of Paul (Sandra), Joe (Thea) and Mike (Fahreta). Much loved Grandma (Avo) to Matthew, Jonathon, Isabella, Grace and Noah. Predeceased by her parents Albino and Maria Meneses.
Dear sister of Alexandrinha Martins (late Manuel) of Portugal, Maria Albina Silveira (late Manuel) of Kitchener, and Adriano Meneses (Irene) of Kitchener. She will be fondly remembered by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends in Canada and Portugal.
Margarida's family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 pm & 7- 9 pm on Sunday, February 25th, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467 with prayers at 8:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 300 Simeon St. Kitchener, on Monday, February 26th, 2018 at 10:00 am. Interment Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Grand River Hospital Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
