Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Grand River Hospital at the age of 85.
Beloved husband of Carminda Pedrosa for 62 years.
Loving father of Isabel DeSousa (Tony); dear grandfather of Colette DeSousa (Mike Legault), Paula Geerlinks (Dave), Melissa Manojlovich (Mike); and dear great-grandfather of Zara Manojlovich.
Predeceased by his mother Rosa Dias Ferreira.
Manuel's family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener 519-749-8467. Parish prayers 8 pm on Wednesday evening. Funeral Mass 10 am on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, 300 Simeon St., Kitchener.
Interment Williamsburg Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Alzheimer Society of KW would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
