Grant, Ronald (Ron):
Passed away peacefully with family by his side at Sunnyside Home, Kitchener on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at the age of 67. Predeceased by his parents Alonzo and Irene Grant, his brothers Jim (Tyra), and Rick. Survived by his sister Lani Courchesne (Denis), sister-in-law Lynn-Ann LeClair, nephews Steve and Kevin, nieces Cheryl, Alissa, Rebecca, Nicole, Emily, and great-nieces Erika, Karli, Tara, Tiffany, and Avery. He will be fondly remembered by many friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Sunnyside for all the care and compassion given to Ron over the years and to express their thanks to Participation House for the many years of service that allowed him independent living.
Ron's family will receive relatives and friends from 2 - 5 p.m. on Sunday, January 21, 2018 and from 2:30-3:15 p.m. on Monday, January 22, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467, where a memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 3:30 p.m. Cremation has taken place.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Sunnyside Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
