Condolence: A man who always had a smile fo you. Wally and I were friends through golf and although that golfing relationship was for a relatively short period in our lives I enjoyed the times and getting to know a true gentleman. He will be missed by many and I would like to pass along condolences to all that are feeling his loss, a long list I am sure.

Condolence From: Al Pinder
Condolence: Dear Kim, Karen and family. I first met your father and mother in Stratford in June/July 1957. Wal and I had a common interest in life and that was football. He supported Liverpool and I, Manchester City and would tease each other about who was best. We also played football together and it was "Ar" and "Wal", shouted for a pass from the other. I remember the parties and trips to the Pineries and Ipperwash beach in summertime. Vera was a very loving and caring person and she and "Wal" helped me through a difficult period in my life. It was through your parents that I became friendly with Betty, his sister, husband Reg and Leslie {who advised me of his passing}. It was like having a new family and I was so lucky to be with them. Your Dad was my best mate and I feel honoured that I could share part of my life with "Wal" and Vera, or "Ye" as he called her. Fondly remembering them both.

Condolence: To us Wally was like the battery advertisements.
His energy “energized” everyone he loved, everyone he knew and everyone he met.
His smile warmed us all
and his wit made us laugh.
He is as unique and special as any individual can be.
Sometimes Walter and sometimes Wally and always loved by all.
We will always cherish our many years of camaraderie, travel, friendship and love with Wally and Vera.
May both rejoice to their reunion in paradise.

Condolence: I don't think that I will ever play a round of golf without thinking about all of the good times that Wally, Ken and I (the Three Stooges) had on the golf course. A great friend and an even better human being. My condolences to his entire family. He will be greatly missed

Condolence: Our deepest sympathy to all of Wally's family. You will remember our name I imagine from hearing about us from your parents. Living next door on Donald Street where Kim and Karen were born. Good times there ! Thinking about those times, and as they say "those were the days" ! He will be missed I'm sure, just as your mom has been missed for the past few years. Our thoughts are with you all.
