Nowak, James Bernard 'Jim':
It is with heavy hearts the family of Jim announce his sudden passing on Thursday, January 11th, 2018 at the age of 55. Beloved husband and best friend of Denise for 29 years. Loving and amazing dad of Dana, Sarah and his dog Riley. Jim's pride and joy were his daughters. Family was always first and he loved them unconditionally. Dear brother of Jane, Pat, Maryanne, Joan, Audrey, and Shirley. Cherished son-in-law of Bruce and Joan Olinski and brother-in-law of Gary and Brad Olinski. Predeceased by his parents Bernard and Anne Nowak. He will be fondly remembered by extended family, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Jim's family will receive relatives and friends from 2 - 4 pm & 7 - 9 pm on Monday, January 15th, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral Service in the Chapel of the funeral home, on Tuesday, January 16th, 2018 at 1:00 pm. Private interment at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Nutrition for Learning would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
