Obituary for Karin Rosemarie Boehnke (Bischoff)
BOEHNKE, Karin Rosemarie
Passed away on December 13, 2017 at the age of 68. Karin was beautiful, sweet and smart. She was a deep thinker, a self-explorer and a boundary pusher. She lived life to the fullest and always made people feel welcome and cared for with her open heart, her generosity and her impeccable sense of hospitality. Karin had an adventurous free spirit and for many years, spent her summers with her companion Edward Hall on their boat in Orillia. Winters took her to many exotic locations around the world. She loved and spoiled her children and grandchildren and will be deeply missed by Anna (Reza), Armin, Alexander and Anita Boehnke, and grandchildren Grace, Flynn and Ezra.
Karin’s family will receive relatives and friends from 10-10:45 a.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St. Kitchener, (519) 749-8467. A Service to Celebrate Karin’s Life will be held in the Chapel on Saturday at 11 a.m. Reception to follow. Private Cremation has taken place.
As expressions of sympathy donations would be most gratefully accepted in Karin's honour by The Foodbank of Waterloo Region (cards available at the funeral home).
