Condolence: Such wonderful memories I have of Muriel in the Mayor's office during Sid McLennan's time. I had my first job/position of "importance" working in Personnel as a steno-clerk and was fondly named by Muriel as one of her little flowers supporting her when an extra hand was in need. There was no messing-up for Muriel! Indeed a challenge. I can recall Muriel as an individual I most aspired to be as I set out on my 41 year career. Thank you Muriel for your inspiration.

Condolence: I worked with Muriel on the Board of Directors at Columbia Place where she had written the newsletter for years. She eventually turned over that task to me but was always willing to assist. The years that she did the gardening for our community were so much appreciated that we even received recognition from the city with a "Communities in Bloom" award. When I served on the board, I would often go to her for advice and a cup of tea. We all miss her. She was a vivacious and generous soul.
