Yantha, Isadore:
Isadore passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Grand River Hospital at the age of 78.
Beloved husband of 53 years to Geraldine (nee:Peplinski).
Cherished dad to Lisa Brown and her husband Kevin, Wade Yantha and partner Julie Kraemer.
Isadore (lovingly called Tatti) will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Wendel, Evan, Kendra, Wesley, Zachary and Caitlin.
Lovingly remembered by Christine Yantha.
Survived by his sisters Sally Norlock, Stasia Recoski, Irene Costa (Joe), Margaret Luckovitch (Felix), and brother Kenneth (Johanna) and sister-in-law Diane Yantha.
Isadore will be missed by many nieces and nephews and extended family.
Predeceased by his father and mother August and Annie (Plebon) and brothers Clarence and Leonard and sister Marcella Burchat.
Isadore loved spending time with family and friends, fishing and being at the cottage. He will be laid to rest in Round Lake Centre.
Isadore's family will receive relatives and friends from 7- 9 p.m. on Friday, December 15, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Visitation will continue on Saturday, December 16, 2017 from 11-11:45 a.m. A funeral service will take place in the chapel at 12 noon.
Reception to follow.
Cremation has taken place.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Diabetes Canada or Canadian Liver Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
