Obituary for James Lyon
Lyon, James (Jim):
Passed away suddenly on Friday, December 1st, 2017 at the age of 80. He was born in Renfrew, Scotland in 1937.
Husband of Jean. Father of Alison Lyon (Jim Stickland) and Cameron (Gina) Lyon and papa to Claire, Brittany and Stephen.
Jim was a vice president of Canada Blower and Canada Pumps. He was an avid swimmer and skier and adventure seeker. A special friend of Bill Wilson.
Jim's family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467 on Sunday, January 7, 2018 from 2-5 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, January 8, 2018 at 10 a.m. with a reception to follow. Cremation has taken place.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Grand River Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
