Obituary for Randy Hutchings

Randy Hutchings
Hutchings, Randy (Randall):
It is with great sorrow we announce the unexpected passing of Randy Hutchings at Toronto General Hospital, on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at the age of 64. Beloved son of Joyce (nee Fries) and the late Ronald Hutchings. Dear brother of Mike and Hao Hutchings, Cheryl and Hono Medeiros, Kim and Brian MacNeil and Rick Hutchings and Pam Deckert. He will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews, and friends. Randy was well known for his voice and laughter which filled the room, you knew where he was. His favourite saying was "You gotta be kidding." He was a hard working man who retired from Rogers in June 2017 and was a dedicated fan of the Blue Jays and Maple Leafs, his cats and movies.
Randy's family will receive relatives and friends from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2017 and 3:00 p.m. - 4:15 p.m. on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467 where a funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home at 4:30 p.m. followed by a reception. Private cremation to take place at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Rotary Foundation of Canada or the Kitchener-Waterloo Humane Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Toronto General Hospital ( Monk Building) for your compassionate care of Randy.
