Loving mother of Linda (Don) Seager, Pat (Richard) Emmerton and Peter (Lesley) Daufenbach. Cherished grandmother of Sean (Hannah), Cara (Chris) and Nathan (Nathalie) and great-grandma of Maciek and Timothy. Her four-footed family members: Pace, Dexter and Ginger will miss her dearly.

Predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Edith Giesler; sisters, Doris (Walter) O’Krongli and June Keller; brother, Arthur Giesler Jr. (Shirley) and brother-in-law Jack McCutcheon.
She is much loved by many nieces and nephews.
Mom was a life long resident of Kitchener-Waterloo. She was the owner of Maja Hairstyling and Boutique in downtown Kitchener. Needing a further challenge, she became a real estate agent, then broker. Mom was an avid reader, a serious movie buff, an amateur gardener and a world traveller. Her 80th birthday present, an ipad, was her favourite possession.
Special thank you to the doctors and nurses on the 5th floor of Grand River Hospital and Dr. Schwartz and the nurses at Freeport for their excellent care and compassion.
At Mom’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private family burial service at Mount Hope Cemetery, Kitchener will take place at a later date. Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
