Condolence: My deepest condolence to Ruth's beloved family. I worked with Ruth for 12 years at the Service Centre, and she was one of the fine women who helped me fit in. We live in Maryhill, beside the old Olinski house, Ruth informed me that she spent childhood days there, as it was her Grandparents home.
Ruth was proud of her family, and shared that with everyone. I am so sorry that we have lost a vibrant soul.

Condolence: Our hearts sent deepest condolences to all of Ruth’s family. She was an amazing friend and co-worker. Her smile and her sense of humour could always make a day better. Ruth was a part of our lives for many years at the City of Waterloo, and for that we feel blessed. She was so special to many of us. She was kind, caring, hard working and most of all Ruth loved her family more than anything. Her eyes lit up when chatting about the grandchildren. Hoping that all the wonderful moments in your lives spent with this beautiful woman will help you through this difficult time. Hugs.

Condolence: Our condolences to all of the family. Ruth was an incredible friend and co-worker, she always saw the best in people and there was always a smile, and many a twinkle in her eye when we chatted about life. More than anything, she was very proud of her family. May beautiful memories of your lives with her help you through this very difficult time. Ruth was truly one of a kind!

Condolence: Dear Rick, Paula, Tina and Danny

I am so very sorry for your loss. Ruth was one of a kind and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her. Ruth and I worked together at the City of Waterloo over the last 17 years and most recently at the Service Centre in the Water Dept, up to her retirement at the end of March. She was a great person to work with. Her wit, sense of humour and laughter made the workplace an enjoyable place to come to every day. We had a lot of laughs every day about our work, our lives and lots of silly antics. She would often share some of her stories about family. It was so obvious how much she loved all of you and her grandchildren. Her grandchildren were lucky to have such a loving Grandma. I feel so lucky to have known her and I will miss her deeply. Please accept my deepest condolences. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Condolence: I am truly sorry and heartbroken to hear the news of Ruth's passing.

She was a wonderful, gentle and beautiful person. I will never forget her kindness to me when I first met her so many years ago. I will always remember her laughter and her willingness to always help me. I am truly honoured and blessed to have worked with her at the Service Centre and to have called her my friend. Even though I moved back to my hometown of Woodstock, I have taken with me many fond memories of Ruth and her kindness and love for my kids. She was in her element and shined bright when she was around children.

It is with a heavy heart that I pass on my condolences to her family. May the loss and void you feel today be filled with memories of love and laughter and may it bring you comfort in the years to come.

Respectfully,
Teresa Oliveira-Gdanski
