Obituary for Ruth Eleanor Yantz (Olinski)
Yantz, Ruth (nee Olinski):
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at Grand River Hospital at the age of 65.
Beloved wife of Rick for 47 years. Loving Mother to Tina (Barry) Frame, Paula Louttit, and Dan (Tracy). Cherished G-Ma to Carlie, Wyatt, Jack, Madi, Jake, Charlie and Devin, Shailynn and Macayla. She will also be dearly missed by her sisters, Dolores (Jim) Hall and Helen (Dennis) Scheel, many nieces, nephews and friends. She is predeceased by her sisters, Sandra Olinski and Shirley (late Ross) Hollinger.
Ruth's family will receive relatives and friends from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Holy rosary at 3:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Boniface Roman Catholic Church, 1354 Maryhill Rd., Maryhill, on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 10:00 a.m.
Cremation has taken place.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Grand River Hospital Foundation - Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
