Passed away peacefully to meet her Lord and Saviour on Thursday, November 9, 2017 in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Paul. Loving mother of June Igo (Mike), Xavier Desmond, Tina Petratschek (Alfred) and the late Andy Schmitt. Survived by daughter-in-law Marg Schmitt. Proud Oma of Jessica (Jason), Shane (Linsay), Christopher, Josh, Matthias, Karl-Philip, Emily and great-grandmother of Lukas, Nathan, Emma and Lilly.
Irene's family will receive relatives and friends from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Memorial Service in the Chapel on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Miller Lake Camp - c/o Central Baptist Church would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
