Obituary for Mee Her

Mee Her
Mee Vang Her
Left us to be with God unexpectedly on October 28, 2017 at the age of 59.
Mee is survived by her husband Paul Her; son Touxieng Her and his spouse (Paxayinh Her); her 4 grandchildren YenKhai (16), Kayla (14), YiPheng (10) and YengZong (8); mother Chue Lor of Saint Paul,MN; sisters Bao Vang Xiong (Neng Xiong) of Wausau, WI, Yeng Vang Lor (Pao Lor)of Saint Paul, MN, Mailou Vang Lor (Fong Lor)of Saint Paul, MN and Brother Thomas Vang (Mary Lor)of Brooklyn Park, MN. She is preceded in death by her father Chia Kao Vang of Saint Paul, MN and Brother Boua Neng Vang of Saint Paul, MN. She also leaves behind numerous loving relatives and friends.
Mee was born on August 13, 1958 in a village - Hoitam Phuvlav Phuvpees, Laos to Chue Lor and Chia Kao Vang. She is the oldest out of her 5 siblings.
She married Paul in 1973. He was mesmerized by her beauty and took her to be his wife. They were happily married for 44 years. She struggled to have more children after her son, but when she became a grandma she gave her grandchildren all her love.
She loved to garden and loved working at Pfennings Organic Farm. When she got extra fruits and vegetables from Pfennings, she would share it with her family and friends.
She was loved by many in the community as well as her friends from work and had dreams of going away to far off places like Laos and Jamaica.
She will be dearly missed by her husband, her son, her daughter-in-law and her grandchildren. We will remember that she always said that life is too short to be mad at one another, so love each other. Mee will be remembered as a loving and caring, soft spoken woman of God.
