About the passing of uncle Dave.
I’m really saddened to hear this news. I just reflect on the brightness and warmth of his great smile and the tone of his voice which alone could make you feel like you were somebody important, the self confidence that he alone could exude with that memorable voice was amazing. I can only say that the times we shared from home in Owen Sound to Limberlost road, to the Firehall in London to the time one of you was gifted with my bicycle for his birthday, no worries he was my 1st cuz , to times at Harrison park and the Emancipation day picnics right on over to uncle Paul’s barbecues in Lambeth. I really miss you all and wish we were sitting together around the table once again. Please set a place at the table for the one who no longer will be there! Uncle Dave will be missed. During the memorial service I will be with you in spirit. I am sorry that, during this difficult time, I can’t be with you in person but I will shed some tears Sunday as the voice we miss echoes in our hearts.
My sincerest condolences go out to you Angela , Phillip , Kenny ,Bobby , Gary . Till we meet again I miss and love you! Terrence Paul Johnson. terry
