Obituary for David Gibson Johnson
Johnson, David:
Passed away peacefully on Friday, October 13, 2017 at his home at the age of 82.
Beloved husband to Sue-Ellen Beirnes.
Cherished Dad to Gary (Laura), Bob, Ken, Philip (Aggie) and Angela (Ian).
Special Papa to 12 grandchildren and 1 soon to be great-grandchild.
Predeceased by Barbara Johnson and his two sons Chris and Darcy.
David served in the Korean War and was also a member of the Korean Veteran's Association.
Cremation has taken place.
David's family will receive relatives and friends from 12 - 1:15 p.m. on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A memorial service will follow in the chapel at 1:30 p.m. Reception to follow.
A special thank you to the staff at the Guelph Veterinary Hospital for the all the care that was given to our pets.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the University of Guelph - OVC Pet Trust would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
