Maloney, Francis Leo
Died peacefully on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at the Grand River Hospital in Kitchener at the age of 70. Survived by his wife Sharon, children Rob (Rhonda), Richard (Jim), Maureen (Ian) and Brian (Tasha), and grandchildren Aidan, Brennan, Evelyn and Liam. Also survived by siblings Jim (Jean) Maloney, Anne (Ferg) Kelly and Helen (Warren) Regier, and in-laws Linda (Frank) Fischer, Barb Wolfe, Jerry (Fran) Staples, Wilma (Wayne) Knight, Lorraine Noakes, Charmaine (Larry) Keller and Jeanette Connolly. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Tessie Maloney, sister Marie Doyle-Gelinas and parents-in-law Gordon and Catherine Staples. The family would like to thank the caring PSW's, Sunnyside Community Alzheimer's Program (Kitchener and Cambridge sites), Ian and Fiona Mendas and family. Francis' family will receive relatives and friends at Blessed Sacrament Church, 305 Laurentian Drive, Kitchener, on Monday October 16, 2017 from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Reception to follow in the church hall.
