Zettel, G. Timothy
Passed away suddenly following a brief illness at Grand River Hospital on Friday September 15, 2017 at the age of 60. Beloved husband of Darlene for 38 years. Loving father of Amanda (Scott Carson) and Scott (Jessica). Proud Grandpa of Makayla. Dear son of Nancy and the late George. Survived by his sister Kristine (Bud Welshman), and brothers Tom (Suzanne) and Greg (Tammy). Son-in-law of Don and Marlene Larke and brother-in-law of Darren, Michelle (John) and Donni (Mark). Uncle Tim will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and their families. Tim will be sadly missed by his hockey, baseball, curling and golf friends. He worked for 29 years with BF Goodrich and more recently with Wellington Motors.
Cremation has taken place.
Tim's family will receive relatives and friends from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday September 19, 2017 and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Memorial Service in the Chapel on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. Reception to follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Grand River Hospital Foundation - Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
