Passed away on Friday, December 29, 2017 at Trinity Village Care Centre at the age of 89.

Beloved wife of Leo for 47 years.
Dear niece of the late Mel Karyus (Grace).
Cherished cousin of Pam Tollefson (Jeff), of California.
Predeceased by her parents, Russell and Adeline Toman.
Will be fondly remembered by her extended family.

Doris was an employee of Bell Canada for 38 years. She taught hundreds of boys and girls over many years in Sunday School at Benton St. Baptist Church, where she was a lifetime member.

Doris' family will receive relatives and friends from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Monday, January 1, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Visitation will continue from 10:00 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. at Benton St. Baptist Church, 90 Benton St. Kitchener, on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow at church. Interment at Woodland Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to Gideons International In Canada would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).

Thank you to the staff at Pinewoods for their care and compassion of Doris during her time at Trinity Village Care Centre.
