Kinda, Etelka (Eta):
Passed away, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, August 31st, 2017 at Juravinski Hospital at the age of 67.
Beloved wife of John for 48 years.
Loving mother to Melinda (Louis) Gorgenyi and Gabriella (Richard) Zoretic.
Cherished Mama to Emily, Tommy, Izabella, and Lily.
Predeceased by her parents, Elek and Erzsebet Benedek.

Eta's life began in her beloved birthplace of Kopecz. She fondly reminisced about her early years and was very grateful for the opportunities and many wonderful memories that her new life in Canada provided. Her life revolved around her family. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. Her drive and compassion to learn fueled her family's success.

Etelka's family will receive relatives and friends from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm on Sunday, September 3rd, 2017 and 2:30 pm to 4:15 pm on Monday, September 4th, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A service will be held in the chapel on Monday, immediately following visitation. Reception to follow. Cremation to take place.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Grand River Regional Cancer Center would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
