The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Mary Peters can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Sarah,Greg and Family sorry for the loss of your mum. We met Mary in the 1960's working together and Ida joined Sea Rangers through Mary and Joan. We saw you all several times when you came over to Surrey and we enjoyed a short stay in Kitchener which included a trip to Niagara and transfer to and from Toronto. We cruised together doing a land trip in Alaska and then down to Vancouver. Also the one from Miami to Los Angeles through the Panama Canal. Lots of laughter was heard on both trips. In fact at one of the lodges we stayed in there was a wood burner in each one and we,the non outdoor types, got lit before your Dad.
Lasting happy memories of both Mum and Dad.

Condolence: Sarah, Greg and Family - I'm so sorry for your loss.
Your mom was such a wonderful person and one of the nicest people I've ever met. I have so many happy memories of being at your house when we were kids, Sarah. When I'd come over to play commodore 64, we'd always stop in the family room to say hi to your parents who were usually in there together. Your mom was so great to come over to my house during the summer so we could go swimming. And I can't count how many times she drove us around in the little yellow chevette.
Your mom was such a sweet lady and she will be missed.
