Therese passed away on November 4, 2017 at Columbia Forest Long Term Care Nursing Home, Waterloo where she was residing.

Dear daughter of the late Arsene Lacroix and Blanche Deslauriers. Beloved wife of the late Alfred Desmarais Jr. Loving sister of Noela of Hearst, Ontario and the late Radolphe, Genevieve, Benoit, Eudore, Gertrude, Jean Noel (Pete). Loving mother of Radolphe (deceased), Marie-Rose Charrier (Phil) of Kitchener and Betty-Anne Singh of Waterloo. Dear grandmother of Shawn, Melissa, Tina, Faith, Jeanette, Kristal-Lee, Lindsay, Cameron and Ashton. Dear great-grandmother of Micaela, Courtney, Quentin, Orlando, Damon, Aiden, Lorenzo and Raphael. Beloved aunt of many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. She was a very devoted Catholic and loved the Savior very much. We would like to thank Columbia Forest Nursing Home of Waterloo for taking care of Mom.

The family of Therese will receive relatives and friends on Friday, November 17, 2017 from 2:30 -3:45 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener 519-749-8467. The liturgy service will take place at 4 p.m. on Friday in the chapel of the funeral home followed by a reception.

Cremation to follow. Therese will be interred with her parents in the Chapleau, Ontario Cemetery.
