The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Rienzi Crusz can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: Tim Horne
Condolence: I have come to appreciate the wonderfully insightful, sensitive and spiritual voice of Mr. Crusz after purchasing "How to Dance in This Rarefied Air" early this year (2018). I regret not having done so earlier. My sincere condolences to the family on his passing. Know that his words, "small bouquets", do continue to resonate and touch hearts.

Condolence From: Cyril Dabydeen
Condolence:

My sympathies to his family. Rienzi and I read together in different parts of Canada, and indeed he was a richly talented poet, and a friend as we shared many personal stories about life and creativity. Rest in peace, old pal!
Cyril Dabydeen, former Poet Laureate of Ottawa.

Condolence From: Marlene Laurence
Condolence: My condolences to Anne and all the family. I worked with Rienzi for many, many years at UW and was sorry to hear of his passing.
After he retired I ran into him frequently at Conestoga Mall when he was either shopping or out for a constitutional. Again my sympathies for the family.
