Ozols, Janis Karlis "John"
Born July 7, 1928 in Latvia, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at the age of 88. Survived by his wife Eveline, daughters Dina and Melita, sons-in-law Steve and Uldis, and grandchildren Daniel, Aaron, Nathan and Rachel. John served in WW II and came to Canada in 1949. He married Eveline in 1953. John worked for Mutual Life in Kitchener for 36 years. He was an avid fisherman and gardener, and enjoyed making and fixing almost anything. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held. Arrangements entrusted to the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 519-749-8467. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
