Obituary for Marija Vrljic (Medved)

Marija Vrljic (Medved)
Vrljic, Marija
Went home to the Heavenly Father on Wednesday, September 27th, 2017 to reunite with her parents Milan and Kata Medved and her sister Dragica at the age of 56.
Loving mother of Christina Halladay (Matthew), David Vrljic (Monika Ohl), and Frankie. Dear sister of Ivo Medved (Anica), Pero Medved (Ljubica), Nikola Medved (Marica) and their families all in Croatia. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, friends and family in Croatia, Germany, Australia, and Canada. Mom was an incredibly happy person. She loved God and people and always found strength in her faith. Her life's motto was "Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly, leave the rest to God." Family was the most important thing for mom. She felt blessed for having such a loving family- her greatest joy and she loved spending time with them.
Special thanks to Dr. Giilck, Dr. Tan, all of the Care Partner nurses as well as all of the amazing staff and volunteers at Innisfree House for providing palliative care to mom.
Thank you to all of the friends, family and coworkers for their care, calls, and visits in the last few months. Special thanks to kumovi Bilogrovic and Matas for their love and support throughout many years of friendship.
