Wittie, Dorothy (nee Ruthven)
Passed away with family by her side at Innisfree House on Monday, July 24, 2017 in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late Clarence (1998). Loving mother of Sheila and David (Sue). Proud and doting Grandma of Cara (Chad Kieswetter), Ryan Wittie (Kate) and Nylan Wittie and great-grandmother of Nicole, Hannah, Jacob and Konrad. Predeceased by her 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Aunt Dotty will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Despite enduring serious illness near the end of her life, Dorothy never lost her sparkling blue eyes, wicked sense of humour or gracious nature. Dorothy's family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, July 27, 2017 and from 12-12:45 p.m. on Friday, July 28, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Friday, July 28, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Interment Memory Gardens Cemetery. Reception to follow at Henry Walser Funeral Home.
