Thaler, Helen Grace (nee Bolt):
Passed away peacefully but unexpectedly at her home on Monday, April 24th, 2017 in her 79th year. Helen, beloved wife of Herb for 51 years. Loving mother of Kevin (Lisa). Cherished grandma of Alex and Matt. Survived by her twin brother Harold (Joanne). Predeceased by her sisters Florence Boughner (Lyle), and Maryanne Trendall (John). Dear sister-in-law of Nancy Hollinger (Irvin), Marjorie Thaler, and the late Bruce W. Thaler. Helen will be fondly remembered by all her family and friends for her infectious smile and laughter.
Helen's family will receive relatives and friends from 3 p.m. - 5 p.m. & 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. on Thursday, April 27th, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467 and on Friday April 28, 2017 from 10 a.m. - 10:45 am where a funeral service will be held in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. followed by a reception. Interment Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the St. Matthews Lutheran Church Golden Hour or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
