Elliott, Bernice

Passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Freeport Campus of Grand River Hospital at the age of 72.

Beloved wife of Harold. Loving mother of Tamara McRae (Dean) and Chad (Karen). Proud grandmother of Kara Bethune. Dear daughter of Josephine Lewis and the late John. Cherished sister of Sheila (Ted), Jim (Rhoda), Jacinta (the late Bill), Marion (Kevin), Marie (Jim), Dorothy (Steve), Millie (the late George) and Nicola (Brent). Survived by her sisters and brother-in-law; Shirley, Audrey, Gerald and Carolyn and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her niece Samantha and 3 sisters-in-law.

Bernice's family will receive relatives and friends from 10:00 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. on Monday, March 13, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A memorial liturgy will be held in the chapel of the funeral home, immediately following the visitation, at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow. Cremation has taken place.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
